You must have the Excel spreadsheet program on your computer (or on a file server) to be able to run the Greenhouse Tutorial.
If you are using the web browser Netscape on your own personal computer, it will ask you how you wish to handle the MS Excel file when you click on "Start the Greenhouse Tutorial". Netscape does not recognize MS Excel files on its own; there are two ways to handle this problem. You can save the file to a disk and then run MS Excel from your own computer to work through the tutorial, or you can configure your Netscape browser to recognize files with an .xls extension so that MS Excel will run automatically as a helper application. Check your Netscape Options for more information on this.
