Course Introduction

By the end of the half-semester you will become familiar withe the top 105 tropical plants, how to grow them, how to maintain them in greenhosue and interior room conditions, as well be made aware of many of the significant attributes of the plants, such as whether or not they are poisonous, their bloom period, and propagaion methods.

This is a plant ID course, which means you will be shown a group of plants in a lecture, and then be expected to study the notes and the live plant specimens supplied in the greenhouses in preparation for weekly ID quizzes and lecture exams.

There will be one term paper due for this class during the half semester.
